Taketh this food that cometh not from Eurest

After our random jaunt to Lygon st last night we hatched a formidable plan. That we would wake up early and instead of eating the usual brunch served by Eurest, we would avail ourselves of the fine tasting food to be found in the city. Our destination was clear. A dumpling shop in Chinatown. The food was of a much higher standard than our usual fare and was warmly received by all. After eating our fill we decided that shopping for food was necessitated. The only problem was that both Spellshaper and I could not remember exactly which direction the grocery store was in. So we went in the direction of my choice but it wasn’t there. Then we went in the direction that Spellshaper had pointed out. Again, no shop. Hmm what’s this, wrong street! No wonder we can’t find the shop. After burdening ourselves with many purchases we headed to the famous KokoBlack in Royal Arcade intent on buying hot chocolate powder. Alas, no powder was to be found, and we were informed that their hot chocolate is made with REAL chocolate not cocoa. From thence we headed to Victoria Market, the bastion of fresh food. This time we decided that it might be easier to just get a mix of several teas as a present for our friend who was turning 21. She is a huge fan of tea so we knew that she would like it. Once we had obtained this we returned home to our respective assignments.
